U18's win DDSL Christopher Cup

Congratulations to the U18's who won the Christopher Cup at the DDSL Finals Day at the AUL on 9th May.

The final was played against League Champions Ballyoulster and against the odds, Mount Merrion ran out 3-0 winners with goals coming from David Molumby, Dermot Sullivan and Robbie Brennan.

This match marked an appropriate send-off for the squad in their last game for the club. Mount Merrion Youths Football Club would like to wish them all the best for the future and to thank them for their contribution throughout their underage playing careers. Good luck lads!

U12's in action

3 May - the Under 12's had to battle hard today against St Joseph's as they conceded two late goals to let the opposition back into the game. The team bravely held on to win by a one goal margin - 3-2.

Gallant performance by U15

Sadly the U15's lost their semi-final away to Cherry Orchard in a match which was a lot closer than the scoreline of 4-0 reflects. Mount Merrion were right in the game until the last 15 minutes when three goals in quick succession finally put paid to the tie.
Congratulations to the two Daves and all the squad in a fabulous achievement in getting to the semi-final.
